Ok, we had a little scare on Christmas Eve. I had an appointment to do my glucose screening, but Dr. Cohan thought my cervix was dilating when she checked me. She sent us to the hospital in the Med Center right away! Talk about a scary ride to the hospital. We spent 2 1/2 hours in Labor and Delivery buy luckily the contractions I've been having are not stressing the baby out, and my cervix does not seem to be dilated. We also went for an ultrasound appt on the 26th and got lucky enough to get the room with the 3D/4D Ultrasound machine! Jayden looks so cute on the ultrasound machine and we got some pictures to show! We also took random Christmas pictures showing my belly. Enjoy!

I went to the doctor yesterday and we heard Jayden's heartbeat : ) The nurse said I've gained 2 lbs. from the last month I was there and my blood pressure was still low. I'm surprised it is as low as it is (106/62) when normal is 120/80. I'll take all the good news I can get. I will have to come back next week to do the glucose test (ugghh) and then Friday we get to see Jayden again in another ultrasound! The last time I had one was at 5 months so I am curious to see how big he's gotten. The friboids have gotten bigger too so I'm curious to see how big those suckers have gotten. Hopefully my placenta has moved up a little bit, but we will wait and see. I am starting to really like Dr. Cohan because she is so calm about everything. She still has not ruled that a C-Section is the only way Jayden is coming out, even though I know it will most likely be one.
Today we bought some more stuff for the nursery. It is starting to come together! Enjoy the pictures!!!

Well, we have officially started the nursery! We decided to paint the walls blue and beige-yellow color. Speedy painted the walls and it took him most of the day on Sunday. (You will see pictures of him painting and trying to watch the Texans play at the same time : ) ) The furniture was delivered on Sunday. The dresser and chest were delivered done, but we had to put the crib together. They told us it wouldn't be that hard, and it really wasn't. It took Speedy maybe a couple of hours to do it. We just need the mattress now so I can set out his Vintage Mickey bedding. We still haven't decided if we are going to paint a Mickey playing soccer on one of the walls or put some wall stickers I saw at Toys R Us. I put all his clothing (that came from my nephew- Mateo) and it took up all drawers and I only put in up to 6 months size. I really don't need any more clothes because I don't know where I'm going to put them! Ha ha. I guess that is a good problem to have : ) Can't wait to really see the finishing room, but I think it is a great start!
